LICI/Endoment Policy
Maturity proceeds not received

Dear Sir/Madam,

My Policy No. 480209498, Date of comm:15.09.1989, Date of maturity : 15.09. for Rs.25, 000/-, Table No.14/20, issued by MALIGAON Branch deposited at LICI DIMAPUR Branch, where the monthly premiums were remitted by my employeer, on maturity to take payment. But the details of the policy could not be viewed/generated in the system by the branch. I was given to know that the docket of the policy might be remained in TINSUKIA Branch (Assam) as earlier premiums were remitted to that office. However, Dimapur branch assured me to take up the matter with Tinsukia Branch and to pay the proceeds at the earliest. Since no response had been received, I wrote a letter to Tinsukia Branch giving the details to expedite the payment with a copy to Dimapur Branch on 18.11.09.But till date no response have been received either from Tinsukia or Dimapur Branch. The inordinate delay in settleing the issue is not expected from LICI.Please take suitable action to settle the matter urgently. Incidentally, my another Pol No. 480209497 matured on the same day has been paid by Dimapur branch.
