Bajaj avenger
Non Receipt of RC book

I had booked Bajaj Avenger on 5th January. I got a delivery for the same on 27th January without any passing, registration and insurance. Till february end i did not got any papers and not even bike number. I was riding the bike as it is. In February end, i got my registration number, insurance and registration papers. Till today (12th April), i have not got my RC book. I have purchased this bike from Yashraj Auto (Mr. Pankaj) in Bhayandar (west). He told me to talk to Mr. Happy of Bajaj. His number is 2525 2888. He replied, i can rid a bike till 6 months legally. It is more than 2 months from registration. Kindly let me know if this is correct what happened with me.
