Loss of silver coating from Fuel Tank & Silence

I purchased a new Bajaj Avenjer in Aug 09. After 3 months it was found that a bubble formation is taking place on the silver coated portions of fuel tank and silencer. Now the same coating of fuel tank and silencer is chipping off day by day and the major part affected is the silencer. I mentioned the matter to Bjajaj service centre (Jodhpur). They told me to get the photographs of the affected areas for forwarding to the main branch. My question is that, is it my personal responsibility to do all this without knowing technical details like taking photo from which angle, so that the main branch will understand the problem properly.

I purchased the bike with a lot of expectations and within four months the initial problems started. I am in a mental agony that the complete silver coating might loss in a few more days.

Please advise on utmost priority.
