I am owning a Maruti Esteem Vxi (Regn. No. MH 02 AY 8471) for last more than 4 years. In fact, I am a Maruti loyalist and has been driving a Maruti car for last more than 11 years now.
Currently, I am facing a serious problem due to extremely poor services being provided by one of your Service Centres Excell Autovista, Kalina, Santacruz (E), Mumbai. The viper of my car is not properly functioning for past more than 2-3 months (can you believe this?). First time when I took it there it was repaired. But, within less than a month it again stopped working which necessitated me to go back to them for repair/ replacement. This time to my surprise, car was taken after making me waiting for almost an hour without informing me about the non-availability of the parts? The not so important work (clutch replacement etc.) was done and I was charged Rs. 6, 847/- for the servicing on 7th Nov (Cash Memo No. BC11012520, Job Card No. JC11012446). At the time of delivery, when I noticed that viper is still not working, I was told that the spares were not available and therefore, it could not be done. I was then told that the car will be get picked from my residence on the coming weekend and repaired. Forget about picking the car, I have not even received a call from them sofar to inform me the status??? If fact, whenever I call the service supervisor (Mandar), I am given one or the other funny reason (strike at Gurgaon factory, I am not well etc.) and again promised to call back and get the car picked. Its almost a month again now, I have neither received any call from their side nor the car has been picked for repair. This time in fact I have not even received any call to check if I am satisfied with the service??? which otherwise they do religiously.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW CAN SOMEBODY EXPECT A CUSTOMER TO DRIVE THE CAR WITHOUT VIPER FOR SO LONG AND THAT IS TOO IN MUMBAI WHERE DUE TO FREQUENT RAIN AND HUMIDITY IT IS THE MOST NEEDED THING?
CAN SOMEBODY FROM MARUTI’S SIDE PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH THE SERVICE STATION AND UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM BECAUSE I AM NOT GETTING ANY PROPER RESPONSE FROM THEM AT ALL EXCEPT FOR THE FALSE PROMISES???
And yes… look at the timing. When I am contemplating to change my car again, with this pathetic experience how can one even think of going for another Maruti car? I am now seriously thinking of changing the loyalties when I look around and find my friend much more happy with the after sale services being provided by other brands.
