Auto Rikshaw Monopoly

Hi All,

Auto Rikshaw in Bangalore is a nuisance. There are tons of complaints against each one of them and I don't know who is the right authority to reach out to. The most painful thing is that all of us are aware of this fact including the authorities but there is no action. Even if I complain will it be heard??

The list is endless -

1. Irregularities in fare

2. Don't use Meter

3. Ask for more money and sometimes threaten

4. Tempered Meter

5. Say No if the distance is 2-3 Km

6. Digital meters - they should have electronic meters

It's all easy to fix - Increase the per KM price from 7 to 10 but all the above issue should be resolved honestly. Unless the govt/babu's have the will power this cannot be fixed.
