Train not halting on Platform

My parents left by the Gandhidham-Nagercoil Express (6335) from Vadodara on 8Jan'10. They reached their destination Kumta the next day at about 11:30a.m. The train halted not at the platform but at the next railway track which was having no platform on either sides. My old parents had to face difficulties in alighting the train. This neglience on the part of the railway authorities can lead to serious accidents. Such incident has taken place many times. Concerned authorities should look into this matter with serious consideration.
