Upper torn

I have purchased bata shooes from ur outlet, gariahat, kolkata in the month of july 04. within a short span it is badly torn by upper portion. As I am sing the same in office, no rough use is there. how the shooes of company like bata can torn withine this short period. I want to know is there is any alternative to replace, or any reinbirsement of cost, so that I can gain faith on the company.
