Defective product

I had purchased Hush Puppies shoe (Article No 8546904), Order Number - 10037793 online through bata website on 20/11.

I recieved this product on 23/11.One of the shoe (right one) is defective. I had put up a complaint with the customer care on 26/11 vide complaint No 201148366.

I was suggested by the customer care executive to visit nearby store at South Ex-II, New Delhi to get the condition of the shoe checked.

The store manager of this store has confirmed that one of the shoe shipped to me is defective. That store did not have this particular article in my size.

It is only after trust on the brand that I ordered the product online. It is not acceptable that they ship defective product to customer through their online portal.

I have been calling the customer care and every time they tell me that I will get a mail within 7 working days. In between there has been no communication from Bata on what is happening on my complaint.

I expect the company to take full ownership of the same and ship me same product (still available on their portal) on the

priority. They can get the defective product collected from my residence else I can drop it at a nearby store suggested by the company. I hope professionalism is shown and prompt action would be taken to resolve this issue on a priority.
