Non compliance with AMC- Aquagaurd

Dear Sir,

1. I had taken AMC for servicing of Aqua Gaurd Water Purifier (Classic) with M/s Aqua Great Enterprises-I whose representative Mr Pramod (Mobile No- 9818662791) had visited my residence P-53/A, Shankar Vihar, New Delhi 110010 on 29 Jul 11. I have paid Rs 850/- (in cash) for one year AMC for three servicings which include change of candle and carbon commencing wef 29 Jul 11. An invoice vide sl no 02026 was handed over by Mr Pramod after the receipt of payment. The address of M/s Aqua Great Enterprises-I as mentioned on the receipt is 267, CR Road, IIIrd Floor, Lalita Park, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110092, Tele Nos - 22421276, 32695410, 9968383773, 9968531681

2. The service has not been carried out since Mr Pramod has taken the money on 29 Jul 11 and neither does he take the telephone call. The phone nos provided on the AMC receipt/invoice are all bogus and no one answers the phone. I have been able to get in touch with a person called Mr Rahul (9711865805) who has informed that the Aqua Great Enterprises-I is owned by him however is not owning for the invoice provided to me.

3. I wish to inform the consumer complaints forum that such kind of fraud activities are being carried out by this company who cheat people by taking money for AMC in advance and do not adhere to the contract. Not only this, the phone nos and other details mentioned on the invoice are all bogus. Strict action should be taken against such companies whose agents are duping consumers. Pse urgently take some action and suggest what is to be done ahead by me. I am contemplating filing a police complaint.
