Extended Warranty

We got the LG refrigerator from Chroma, Bangalore (Star Bazaar). The shopkeeper coaxed us to buy an extended warranty for 2 years. After 1 year we faced a problem with our refrigerator. We kept calling the toll free number but inspite of repeated attempts, no one picked up the call.

Finally we called up Chroma (from where we purchased the refrigerator) They said that they would get back. Every time we called them they said they would get back. Finally one of the shopkeeper suggested that we call in LG service centre directly. The LG ppl were extremely prompt and got our fridge working again. But alas we had to pay for it from our pocket as Chroma's staff hadn't come for service.

What a waste of money... how long could we wait for our fridge to get back to the working condition.

Chroma people are just making money out of this extended warranty stuff and we are the sufferers.
