Negligence towards customer complaints

Electronics and household app.

Complaint History: I have puchased a Xeon Vacuum cleaner (Eureka Forbes) from Reliance Plaza, Crown Interior Mall, Faridabad in the month of September ' 2010 . On 4th day from date of purchase, it failed during use. I registered a complaint with Eureka Forbes call centre which assured me with a 48 hours resolution time & surprisingly was not responded during next 15 days. This cycle of call registration & ' no response ' continued till it was finally attended on 21st ' Feb ' 2011 .

Engineer diagnosed & stated as ' Two parts have failed & will be replaced under warranty -- TAT next 7 working days. For your ref: one complain no. I am mentioning -- 84174113 dated 11/01/11

My frustration: A company like Eureka Forbes which used to set benchmarks in customer service delivery & How it can degrade to this level???

Complaint: When my product will be finally repaired???
