I had purchased a 4 burner cooking gas stove of the Faber company and within days noticed that the gas was leaking. I made several complaints, considering that the gas stove was still under a year's warrantee and many technicians came and without thoroughly checking said that the gas stove was fine until one day a technician told me that the product was defective and he will fix it. I insisted that if the product is defected and still under warrantee then he should replace it, especially because the gas has been leaking which is very risky. The technician was rude and shouted at me so I called up the Faber company and told them about what was happening and the sweet lady on the phone suggested I put the complain in writing.

A few days later, a got a call from a man called Shailendra from Abhinav Enterprises, saying that usually they do not replace any product (defective, life threatening or not) but because I had put in a written complaint, they would replace it in December.

The same rude technician who screamed on me came with a dirty greasy standby cooking gas and took the one I had purchased.

Today, its the 4th of May, I had written an email to Faber in March but didn't get a reply back from them and their call centre reps have said that they have registered my complaint and shortly I will hear from Abhinav enterprises who are responsible for sending me the new gas stove.

Now, I am wondering whether I will ever to hear from Faber or not?
