Block Mobile

I Ms. Sunita Jamkhande, purchased a new Nokia 2220 GRAPHITE, IMEI No. is 358312034207982 and my mobile no. is 9823425581 on 24/02, which was missplaced on 12/06 : 6 to 6.30 pm at Wanawadi, Hadpsar. I had also reported it at Wanawadi Police station on 13/06 the FIR copy is with me. I got the same SIM number and old SIM number has been blocked. However, to block my misplaced mobile handset I went to Nokia Care Center at Golibar Maidan, but surprise Nokia care center not supported, even they cannot acknowldged the FIR copy, they told me that to submit FIR copy to airtel, reliance, bsnl care center.

Actually at the time of sale nokia sales person provides lot of information about services from nokia care center but in actual it is different. What should I do to block my misplaced handset.
