I bought a Philips DVD Micro Home Theater MCD 109 that developed some fault after the warranty period got over (during warranty also it had developed a fault). I called the Philips India Customer support over phone and agreed to pay the necessary charges (Rs. 600/-) for repair. The authorized representative visited me and took away the system in first week of June and he promised to return it next day duly repaired. No receipt was given. And there is no response from them for over 2 and half months now. I called the customer service repeatedly. Only assurances were given that they will get back to me same day. Nobody called or informed. There is absolutely no commitment of delivery. What is the use if I get the system after 2, 3, 4, 5 months and who knows a year?
