Defective Bed delivered

Hi,

I bought a couple of items from hometown (Double Bed with Mattress, Three Door Wardrobe, Bookshelf).

The bed and the bookshelf was delivered day before yesterday with no mention on the delivery for the other items.

Yesterday fitment team came fitted the bed and the shelf. During fitting it was found that the back plank of the bed was short by an inch.

Now when the complaint was lodged by me. They initially denied to take the complaint and then later thay mentioned that they have logged the complaint but denied to give any complaint number.

Most importantly they have not given us a bill rather gave a deliverynotification.

What should be done for this.

This is pure cheating??
