Receiving bills even after connection dropped

Hi. This is to complaint about the Broadband service providers of Airtel for Noida region.

Actually, I had a Broadband connection of Airtel (0120-4284394) which I had dropped on August 20 '09.

I called up Customer Care and dropped the connection. I also received a verification call in which I mentioned the proper and valid reason for the same.

It has been now 2 months but I am still getting calls from Airtel on a regular basis regarding bill payment.

Which bill.. If I have dropped the connection 2 months ago, why should I pay the bill?

Their database is not updated. Moreover, the executive who so ever was responsible, has put a comment that the plan was upgraded. For whom? And from who's permissions do these guys update the plan? Can Airtel explain this to me?

I have the date, reference number when I dropped the plan.

I can file a case against Airtel for that.

Please explain this to me.
