Exorbitant demand by auto drivers

Tamilnadu is the only state where auto drivers fleece and harass the public by demanding exorbitant fares, do not follow meter system, behave rudely, refuse to ply and violate traffic rules blatantly, all under the eagle eyes of the Tamilnadu police who claim to be the best.

IS THERE NO SOLUTION AT ALL TO THIS AGE-OLD PROBLEM FACED BY THE PEOPLE OF TAMILNADU???

Can the consumer fora do something about it?

This is the fittest case for any consumer forum. They should take it as a challenge and find a solution.

If consumer fora cannot resolve this open issue, it can be declared that there is no consumer movement in our country.
