Refund of Arrear amount of Pay Scale Revision, PF Contribution & EL encashment

Sir/Madam

I was appointed on the post of SSA in EPFO, SRO, Gurgaon. I joined my duties at SRO, Gurgaon on 3rd Jan’07 & was appointed in Administration Branch. I left the job from SRO, Gurgaon on 7th Dec’07.

I had sent an application on 24th July’09 under RTI Act’05 along with two request letters sent to EPFO Gurgaon in Nov’08 & Mar’09 for the refund of arrear amount of 6th Pay Scale Commission. But till now neither I have got my arrear amount nor any information has been furnished by the organisation in these tthree month time period regarding the same. Further, I had also admitted that I will be responsible to pay back the excess amount in case of the overpayment. But no action had been taken in this regard.

Under the sub-section (1) of section 7, obstructed in any manner in furnishing the information, it shall impose a penalty of two hundred and fifty rupees each day till application is received or information is furnished, so however, what amount I can suppose to get as its more than 3 months delay??

You are requested to kindly arrange to furnish my Arrear amount, Leave encashment & the penalty for delaying the case so much long time.
