Shopping festival Gift Redemption

I agree that this is the biggest sham from the Future group yet.

I had collected 114 points since I purchased an LCD and some other items from Hometown Hyderabad. When I went for redemption on 6th Jan, I was told that they did not have the stocks. I gave them my redemption requirement of TV games and Vacuum cleaner. They took my phone no. with a promise to call back. That never happened.

I went there again on 11th and was again told that they only have some items. I redeemed 60 points for a Vacuum cleaner. The only other items available there were bottles(??) etc and the costlier items like camera etc. I am still holding on to the balance 54 points and have visited them twice after 11th but they have still not got the stocks.

Having spent Rs 200 on parking for the 4 visits, no clarity from customer care on what will happen to my balance 54 points, rude behavior of the customer care desk staff, I guess that is what the GREAT Indian shopping festival was supposed to be about!!

I expect them to either get the things I had asked them for, or redeem my points against the next available item which is more that 54 points. Hope Mr Biyani gets to see some of these mails and corrects this before his brand image takes a huge dent!!
