Non refund of ticket amount

Dear Sir,

I am vishwanath Bhaumick, booked ticket of emirates airline for london dt 26/nov/08 (up and down) amounting 26000/- .Due to unavoidable circumstances, I was unable to go. Asked the travel agent to cancel my ticket, which was done sucessfully on dt 12 / nov/08. After one month continous follow up, I recevied a a/c payee chq of 22100/-(after so called deduction) which was cancelled due to insuficient fund. Till now, i have not recvied the amount after continous follow up. Please help me.
