REF: PNR No. 6123042083 We travelled on North East Express 2505 26th March from New Jalpaiguri to New Delhi. The service arrived over 15hours later than scheduled. We have contacted IRTC through email care@irctc.co.in requesting confirmation that the train did indeed arrive 15 hours late and why the train was late. After 6 weeks the information has still not been supplied. The consequence of the delay caused us to miss flight to London. We then had to purchase 2 more tickets for myself and my husband at cconsiderable expense. We need to know what liability the railway company is prepared to take. We are unable to pursue any claim on our travel insurance until IRCTC supply us with confirmation in writing that the train was delayed - and the reason why?
