Price of meal serve in running train

Recently I found that catering services of various trains become very worst in respect of following:-

1.Price of food

2.Quality of food

3.No. Items served with meal

1. Price:- The catering services not providing any menu. What ever they are serving what ever may be the price, passenger have to opt. As per my knowledge price of meal with egg curry is Rs. 35/.

But in train no. 2507 [Egmore-Guwahati] and 5960 [Kamrup exp] charging Rs. 50/ My PNR No. on both train were as :- 4211845966 dt-29.10.09 and 6431657398 dt-01.11.09.

Even train no. 4056/4055 catering services not supplied any veg or egg curry thali. They only serving Veg/Egg/Chicken Biryani with a price of Rs.50, Rs 60 and Rs 80. Every catering should supply the veg/egg curry meal with a price of Rs 27 and Rs 35 only as per your notification.

2.Quality :- It is the issue of every passenger since long time and can not be resolved at any level.

I can only request any railway authority/IRCTC officer please have food on train no. 4056/4055 or any Guwahati bound rajdhani exp. You can realise what are food quality you are supplying to the passegers.

3.Items:- At present following items deleted from standard meal:-

1.One laddu or sweet

2. Dahi

3. Salad

Do you think the price for meal is not sufficient for above.

Railways are observing Anti corruption week from 3rd Nov to 7th Nov. 2009.

Can you please eliminate the corruption on catering system to provide a quality food with a best price to the passengers.
