Purse not mended and no compensation

Hi,

I have bought a Leather purse from Metro Shoes.

Item No.66-1775

Size:10

MRP:1150

The handle of the purse was damaged (handle leather peel off). I approached for repair the details of the meno given below.

Date: 20/07

Date of delivery:21/08

The owner said that the damaged purse has been send to Bombay for repair. After 1 month they said taht it cannot be mended as they did not have material. Is this an expected answer from such a branded company which also has no compensation for its damaged goods.

An individual does not buy such item to be used only for 1-2 yrs.

If I approach some other shops than I can get my item repaired but why should I consult some other shops/means when I am buying things from a brand like METRO.

This has really disappointed me and also in future I would not buy any goods from METRO which would be also conveyed to my near and ones because I dont want them to suffer such a loss.

If this brand has some trust in its buyer than you would sincerely concern my issue. This is just a bitter expeirence.
