Digital meter appears erroneous

My consumer No. is 000481721741 and Digital meter No. is 9006270470. Invariably, I have been paying heavy electricity bill for the last so many months. We are only 2 in our family and we very consciously consume electricity. The earlier complaints made to the MSEDCL is of no use and still I continue to pay higher amount of the electricity bills.
As per my estimate, our average consumption per month should not be more than 250 to 300 units, but the actual consumption shown in the Electricity Bills received from MSEDCL is atleast 1.5 times more.
Kindly advise.
