5 months passed claim not settled of my stolen ca

My car got stolen from my house in Allahabad, on 12 th of may 08, the FIR for the same was lodged, The car was insured by MARUTI in association with National insurance co.intially Maruti did not helped and asked me to lodge the claim with the insurer, the same was lodged on 12th itself, till date the vehical is not traced and the claim is lying pending after 5 months 18 days, and No one neither Maruti nor insurance co. is listening to the issue, being a consumer, i pay the premium for being secured, but here after long time if my claim is pending, how should i feel secure. Maruti company should initiate the case and get the payout done, as assured.
