Rejection of mediclaim

I am having medclaim policy from national Insurance from last 5 year covering my family. The Insurnace comany had rejected the claim for the treatment of Acute Stress Disorder Bipolar Mood in mania with Psychiatric illness”. on the ground of 4.8 exclusion. The point to note is that In India mental illness are not treated at par with Physical problem. When the Govt or insurance comapny will understand that the mental illness are as bad as physical illness waitng for some Court OREDER, the PSU insurance should under stand the main objective of providing insurnace cover

The company, where I am has taken a Floater Mediclaim Policy from National Insurance company to take care of hospitalization of the directly recruited officers of the company and their dependents. The policy provides admissible claim of Rs 4.00 lacs per year. However the claims submitted by under official Floater Mediclaim Policy from National Insurance company have been rejected on the grounds that the treatment of “ Acute Stress Disorder Bipolar Mood in mania with Psychiatric illness” falls under the standard exclusion no. 4.8 of the Mediclaim policy. Further the floater polciy is through MOU With National Insurance in which no exclusions are mentioned.

What should I Do???
