I am having comprehensive insurance policy (IDV- Rs 14768) taken from New India Insurance Co. Ltd for two wheeler and paying premium on time since last 4 years. have got accident in 2006 and having several damage to my two wheeler. As per bajaj authorised vendor, vehicle cannot be repair if repair it cost more than IDV value. Company servyer had done his job and evaluated the cost of RS 3000/- as the current value of vehicle is that much. I have question if IDV is 14k then how they can provide me 3k? What is meaning of comprehensive insurance.
