We have been trying hard for the last three months to get our money refunded from Adarsh Builders, Bangalore but with no success. There have been multiple visits and countless emails written and acknowledged but no date or timeline given as to our refund. Every time you call them or visit them they say the same thing "we are processing your file". Even the government offices don't see as much red tape as you see in Adarsh when it is time to refund the money. Mr. Jayeshanker, the CEO, is never available to hear customer complaints and rest of the people just give you a one line answer "we are processing your file" or "Mr. Jayeshanker is not available to give you your refund back"

I initiated the cancellation process on May 27 with about 7 emails sent till I heard a reply from Marketing Executive saying they are looking into my file. My father who doesn't live in Bangalore has visited Adarsh office twice and no definite answer and certainly no check in hand.

We had invested money in Adarsh thinking they were reputable builders and we would get a home soon, that was February. Years have come and gone but the Tower 4 for Adarsh Palm Retreat has not even been started and the target date when I reserved was 2009. At the time of booking 25% down was to be given in one week time. Now that it is time to give refund 3 months later and countless amount of interest that they have already earned on my money, there is no end in sight.

Now as a last resort I am coming to Media so I can get the money back. I am hoping by sending this letter to you maybe builders like Adarsh get the message enough is enough and stop taking advantage of public by giving them false hopes of getting a house.
