Non maintenance of roads and gutters

The BMC is failing to maintain a check on the litter and leaking gutters in the Mazgaon area of Mumbai. There are many illegal eatable shacks operating on the roads, especially in the evenings, with people eating, throwing and leaving behind garbage. I don't think the roads are even being swept on a regular basis. The BMC of E-Ward is doing nothing to keep the environment clean. The government officials of the jurisdiction also seem to show up only during elections, but do nothing to maintain the area during the rest of their term. This is causing an inconvenience to the citizens of the area.
