BILLS ALREAY PAID SHOWING AS ARREARS IN SUBSEQUENT BILLS AND BILLS RECEIVED AFTER DUE DATE MENTINOED IN THE BILL

Respected Sir,

I get frustrated when I receive Water bill. I received water bill on 17/12 and found the following discrepancies:-

1. Bill payment due date 13/12 received by us on 17/12. However a new date stamp dated 31/12 has been affixed over the due date actually mentioned i.e. 13/12. Bill presented for payment on 21/12 but told us to pay full amount of bill with surcharge and penalty as you are paying after 13/12.

2. Water bill also showing arrears which has already been paid.

I found this problem regularly. it is my humble request to you to instruct the officers of the delhi jal board to give credit of our payments and send the bill before the due date of deposit.

Your cooperation will help us a lot.
