Safety compromised due to greed

Dear All,

I wish to inform you brazen greed of the builder (Gala developer builder of Pride paradise/ Pride Park), local corporator (also chairman of municipal council thane), have violated the safety of the residents of Pride Paradise, additional non compliance of conditions set by the Town Planning for the permission granted.

1. The initial permission gotten was to build 7 storey building, later it was extended to 13 floor. (Now builders are processing for further more floor extension and procedure is first build then regularize the plan as the person in Thane municipal council is having his floor in the building.) Can the building take so much weight what about all amenities, water distribution and pressure created from such a height

and safety.

2. Refuge area is for residents and floor 8 and 13 has the provision, but the resident (local corporator) of 13 floor has broken his side wall closed the 13 floor refuge area access and converted it to personal terrace roof garden flat.

The ATDP (Municipal Town planning was approached and complaint made, no action, Deputy Director was also met but no action, why?)

Complain sent to the Chief Fire officer Thane, the survey was carried by their dept, afterwards no action, (waiting for next Tarangan episode?)

As per real estate agent Refuge area of 8 floor is open for sale by builder.

3. Conditions laid by the TMC for building permission grant not completed.

a. Demarcation of the land.

b. Building of boundary wall around the land.

c. Provision of road for entry / exit for the residents.

All the above conditions not fulfilled, builder not preparing the society or giving handover.

Now we are waiting for Jan Lokpal bill so all the involved can be made accountable.
