Ideal Comforts
Deposit is not being returned

I shifted to this PG (address and the contact details are provided below) on 25th-Feb.

I paid 6500 rupees towards deposit on 24th-Feb (Receipt no. 1301)

Later I paid another 6500 rupees towards the rent on 25th-Feb (Receipt no. 1302).

I was told that when I leave the accommodation, out of 6500 as deposit I will receive 5500 rupees back (1000 rupees would be deducted as maintenance charges).

I vacated the place on 27th -Feb.

I was told I will receive the money by first week of April.

Since April I have been calling them daily and every time they would give me a new date and keep on delaying. Last 2 weeks they have been telling it will be done tomorrow but it never happened.

Now they do not receive my calls or reply to my sms.

I am at a loss here and I am not sure how to proceed. Your help would be greatly welcomed.
