Respected Sirs/Madams,

I am the owner of an Apartment called Shalom in Pune (Khondwa-Khurd). I have been regularly paying all my dues until the year 2008. I am residing in Vashi Navi Mumbai.

Despite being regular in my payments, the Hon. Secretary has always ignored our suggestions regarding the upkeep of the premises. When asked to call for a meeting, he just does not respond. We (most members) have tried our level best to discuss matters with him to no avail. No proper account has been kept of expenditures. We are at our wits end on what to do. As there is no maintenance being carried out. I have therefore stopped my payments from the year 2009.

The Apartments consist of 2 (two) buildings located on 2 (two) different plots, located on either side of the road.

Can you please advise the following:-

1) How can we legally take the Hon. Secretary to task.

2) Can the members one building separate from the Association, if so how?

3) Any other useful advise will be most welcome to sort out the matter.
