Telephone not transferred for 2 months now

My father-in-law Mr Vasant Patil, 76, had applied for transfer of his BSNL landline telephone connection. He shifted from 368, Shankar Nagar to 364, Gandhi Nagar, about 4 months back. He had landline connection no - 0712-2246375 (Old number). He had subsequently applied for transfer of phone. The entire process was completed about two months back, but to the utter dismay, the phoe has not yet been transferred. It is shocking that though the transfer order no 8000599983, was passed on October 12, the BSNL officials attached to Khamla sub-exchange have visited Mr Patil's new home and checked all the credentials, they have not yet shifted the landline connection. Repeated pleas and queries have falled on deaf ears of the officials concerned. The cust id is 1002200083 and the letter is stamped by Commercial Officer, West, BSNL. The BSNL officials may not have the courtsey to shift the phone, even two months after the order was passed, they should spare some thought for a 76-year-old man, who has been running from pillar to post for such a minor issue.
