NON REFUND OF SECURITY DEPOSIT

Sir,

I had taken a land line (033-22178662) connection way back in 2002 and deposited security deposit of Rs.- to BSNL (bill no;-244NCG1457 dated 18/11/02). After being enormously dissatisfied with their serices I surrendered the line on 10/02. I had paid all dues outstanding i my account and applied for security deposit return. I was told I had to get B.T.92 from B.S.N.L.(W.O. NO;-CEN/D/DL/GG/10-11/1613) FOR REFUND and was told I must give them a old handset (which I had not taken while having the connection as I paid Rs.- as security deposit ad with hadset the security deposit was Rs3000/-, then). Being helpless I purchased a handset and gave them to get clearance and finally got it on 07/04.My pain was not over yet, now I was told to apply for refund to AOTR/CB-3, BSNL, 8 HARE STREET, KOLKATA, which I have done on 12/04 (all receipt copies are with me) for refund but I am yet to hear from them, Have I done a crime to get back my security deposit? I am running here and there since 10/02.Who will pay the interset on my security deposit since 10/02/11?
