Deactivation problem

I have been using air tel connection for last one year and in between I got two times problem with my SIM card. Every time they are telling technical problem and has to be deactivated. While doing like i lost the validity recharge and the balance also. Now for last two weeks my SIM is not working, it is just showing invalid SIM, customer service is telling that it will take 48 hours to deactivation whereas today is the sixth day, any positive response not yet. I just dont know why they are telling like that if they are not sure about how much time it will actually take to the rectification. The customer service at RT Nagar is very poor, instaed of service they are just giving difficulties to the people...
