Eactivation of duplicate sim in promisde period

The airtel outlet at ganpati plaza jaipur and online help desk promised to reactivate my duplicate within 4 hrs but failed to do so and on speaking to them now they r saying it can take upto 24 hours had send the request at 10.55 am in the morning and it is 5pm now no action
