Never subscribe to Airtel's broadband services. As it turned out in my case, I got repeatedly billed for unsubscribed services, the representatives talked rudely, and on one occasion I got an atrocious bill of Rs.12000 against my plan of Rs.555 per mont. which I decided to dispute. But even after promises of settlement and cancellation of account for which I paid Rs.7000, I kept getting very annoying calls from Airtel's reps. Airtel is pretty messed up inside with no one having a clue what's happening. And to top it all, its reps can stoop to any levels in their talk... an excruciating experience.
