i had a Bajaj allianz policy # 02030587888... wherein i was supposed to pay Rs. 1000/month via ECS. The date for ECS was set to 12th of every month. everything was going fine until the month of June when they tried to withdraw the money on the 7th. Due to insufficient balance the check bounced, which i was never notified about. thinking that everything is going fine i was under the impression that the policy is going fine. after a couple of months i realized the fact that my policy is on hold due to the bounced check. when i called the customer service i got the shock of my life when they said "you have signed a contract and we can withdraw the amount 10 days prior or 10 days after the date assigned".
well i have other policies too however never heard of such contract. This cheap act doesn't suit a renowned company like Bajaj. Kindly look into it.
