Wrong Information provided to CIBIL

Dear Sir

I had used credit card from Barclay Bank "4339-4888-2091-6675" and I used to pay my dues on time. All was well in the beginning but later their customer service faltered and they stopped sending statements on time stating one reason or the other. I tried calling their call center numbers numerous times and everytime they use to give one reason or the other for the delay. And whenever they use to send statements they use to charge late fine charges for no fault of mine. I have always paid on time and I was always assured that in next statements the correction will be done but it never happened.

Recently I applied for a loan and I was shocked to find that they have given my name to the credit card defaulter's list for an amount of Rs.6631 in CIBIL. I have always tried to be reasonable with them but to no avail for any settlement. I have already paid all my dues and have all the necessary correspondence with them to prove it. If they dont remove my name from the CIBIL I dont have any other option other than file a case against them in consumer court with all the documentary evidence of payments.
