Didn't get new connection

Sir,

Myself Lijose. I have approached our nearest bharat gas agency (in kolenchery, ernakulam, kerala) for taking a new gas connection.

But they are not ready to give me connection without purchase gas stove from their hand. I wish to purchase stove seperately. Sir, gas stove is the part of gas kit? May I get connection without gas stove? Give me necessary information.
