This is for your information that due to CITI Bank's inefficiency in handling my request with promptness for past one month, I was forced to close the CITI credit cards 5546 3792 6655 0019 and 5241 3305 2089 7983 and the reference numbers are 7337 and 9268 respectively as mentioned by them over phone on 24-March, though I never requested for a re-issuance of any further cards but the same have been done by CITI bank at their own interest and thus I suspect their intention of closing down my request amicably.

Furthermore i have requested to adjust the Petrol reward points of my card by 700 (transaction ID#7115) to my old card ending with 0019 and settlement of the remaining amount excluding the interest which has been levied to my account as an interest (for Rs. 5076.05 594.94 as tax), which has caused due to the failure of CITI Bank's server and hence i conveyed my grievance expecting a resolution from their end as the server failure caused delay and non-payment of the pending amount till the time i noticed the same on my monthly ICICI statement (online) but never been intimated by CITI for that failure. Due to such inefficiencies i followed them over phone to get my accounts closed with all adjustment, the request is neither entertained nor they have closed my relationships with the bank (as the latest sms depicts that they have again reissued two more new cards - testimonials can be produced if asked for).

Though I have made several calls and communications regarding this issue, the same has not been resolved yet, please note down the details of the fund transactions which I have made well in advance before the due date but has been reversed back by CITI:&&--gt;

Further to end this saga, I approached CITI bank to know if they can give me a written letter for closure of my account after settlement of the pending dues in cash in a nearby branch at pune, but they refused to give such letter. I am not only frustrated but also harassed by CITI Bank for no reason and reluctant to disclose any information as why they have reverted back Rs 60, 000 on 6-march towards my credit card payment which I did online from ICICI bank on 2-March using CITI banks web portal.

This is in pursuance to my effort to close my account with citi bank after getting waive off interest amount and late payment fees which has happened primarily due to the citi bank's server problem, instead of sorting out the problem which is quite obvious and self explanatory they are giving explanation, which is not relevant to the discussion at all and harassing in nature and can be submitted as per your wish. Expecting your prompt action so as to avoid my name being posted in CIBIL.
