I am a policy holder from Mumbai. While starting the policy the agent came over and was very quick to complete all formalities. After the first year of collecting the cheques for the premium he slowly shifts his base office from mumbai to some other place and doesnot even care to collect the cheqs. I enquired from other agent whether they would deposit my cheq as I and my husband are both working. But the others refuse saying that "Even if they deposit the cheque the commission would go to the first agent only". So I have to take a leave every month to deposit the cheques or else the policy would lapse. Why are you'll having such a system wherein you'll don't have any control over the agents... they are getting their monthly income in teh expense of the customers... can't you'll have a system wherein yearly you'll ask the customers whether their agent is still stationed with them or not (as the agents might come over and just show their presence in your office- without you'll knowing what hardships we as a customers are going through. Kindly look into the matter and try to solve the same in teh interest of the esteemed customer... looking forward with a positive note
