I got a call on 26th June (around 10.30 am) from Express-it courier that I have a parcel on my name and I should confirm my id and address. The parcel was in my office address in IIM Bangalore. I told that being a Saturday the office is closed and I stay in hostel, you can deliver it in my room. The hostel is in the same campus and hardly 100 meters from the office. The delivery guy told me that he will reach in 30 mins and I should wait. Even after 3 hours I didn't get the courier and was waiting for the delivery man. When I called then they told me that he will reach in 10 mins. Again after 40 mins I called them, and was rudely told that they cant deliver now, it would be delivered on Monday. I asked them why they told me to wait in my residence. They should have told me the same thing, earlier. I was told that I should have called them earlier. The guy at the other end told me that if it is so urgent, I should come and collect the courier from the office itself!!! The guy was abusing and I believe he was drunk!! The courier was important and I am still waiting to get it. This is a very very lousy courier company, I should say.
