Extra & Wrong Charges

After paying my dues before due date in April the company did not show it in my account statement and asking for the payment. The cheque that was dropped in drop box was cleared from my account after 5 days but still they are saying it is missing. I sent them the pass book xerox copy but they are saying that they do not consider pass book photo copy as proof of payment mean time they are charging me Rs. 350/- every month till to current month. Now they are saying that they will adjust the payment but the late fees charges are irreversible. They charged me about 1500/- extra for last 4 months so I do not understand what a one can do against such a company.
