our Current A/c No. is 349401010928260 with Union Bank Of India, Branch Lajpatnagar, New Delhi, since 2004 .
Through this communication we wish to draw your kind attention towards irresponsible response / attitude of The Branch Head of above mentioned branch.
We were requesting him verbally for arranging the currency coins [from re - 1, rs- 2, rs -5 and rs- 10] as we require these currency for distribution of wages to our workers. Every time he assured undersigned about being arranged very soon.
On 12th instant undersigned visited bank for routine business work and requested him again for the curency arrangement and received reply was like earlier. This time I requested him for tentaive time schedule for requested arrangement. His reply at "The Position of Branch Head" is narated us under ;
" Mr! I am Branch Head and to arrange the coins is not my work, I have to operate the branch and if you need the coins. contact Mr A.K.Singh sitting outside of my office and submit an application for arranging coins for your need and you will get the coins on arrival from treasury. "
Hearing the above "Irresposible Words" I forgot the requirement of coins but decided to write the instance to "The Appellate Authority" not for recording any complaint against Concerning Officer but to know whether ;
i.to consider the above mentioned request fall under perview of Branch Head,
ii. is the above mentioned attitude of a Branch Head towards the Bank Customer is at par in view of maintaining healthy relationship,
iii. is such attitude is not against the Bank with a Service Slogan "GOOD PEOPLE TO BANK WITH".
Above mentioned instance has hurt my feelings.
