I had a credit card with GE SBI issued to me in 2002 .I had opted for a settlenment on the credit card for Rs 7000 against an outstanding of 10, 500 due to some payment irregularities on my account. I had paid 3 EMI of 2333 Rs each ending on 29th April'03 .GE SBI had issued me a settlenment letter so I thought the card & dues are clear on this card . 7 years later in 2010 I get a call from their customer care claiming that I have an outstanding of Rs 1 lac on my card when I do not have the card /nor have used in the last 7 yrs. Also the limit on the card was 17000/- when the same was issued. I never received statements on this card post the settlement on the card.

This is clear harrasment of customers. Pls help & advise.
