Overdues appear suddenly

I bring to your notice my extreme dissatisfaction with your customer service helpline (41131877). A very rude Ms. Sangeetha, whom I talked to (called from 08043505286), around 10:30 am today, was not only treating me with utter disdain but also unaware of the online banking facilities provided by your bank. Moreover she repeatedly used "..it is your responsibility..." and "... you should have checked..." kind of language which I certainly dont expect from a "customer service helpline". All this after waiting for 8 minutes to get through your number.

This is not the first time that ICICI bank has behaved in this manner. I am sort of getting used to your shoddy service and have come to reconcile that you cant do any better. However since I have a salary account with you I have no other choice but to bear with a grunt all that comes my way.

Coming to my problem, I received a message from your bank today, that there was an overdue of Rs 884/- on my Pesonal Loan account LPBNG00008927463. Naturally I was shocked since the last EMI was paid on 11/1. After a good 10 months it seems that the Bank realised that there is an overdue. The surprising part is that the overdue did not appear on my online bank statement (Screen shot of the statement is enclosed at the end of this mail). My earlier loan number LPBNG00006626176 however had an overdue of Rs 446/- which appeared on my online statement. As Ms. Sangeetha pointed out " Sometimes it will appear on the online statement and sometimes it will not... it is your responsibility to check if the account is closed or not...".

I was also told that I have to visit one of the loan branches to close the account. I prefer to close the account online and request you to look into it.

I have not received my no dues statement for the loan number LPBNG00006626176. Would appreciate if you could take some time out of your busy schedules to send across the statement to me.

I am enclosing an earilier complaint to which I received no reply. This is just for your records.

I have savings accounts in three other banks and my experience with ICICI is the worst. This is for your feedback.
