Poor and irresponsible customer care service in ICICI Bank

This is regarding my request for mobile banking registration. I had given my request along with proper documents to CMH Road, Indira Nagar branch in Bangalore around 25th October. I was told that my mobile number will be registered within one working day. I was shocked when I tried adding payee to my account for an online fund transfer, my number was not registered. I was shocked to know that even after one month my request was not completed.

I went to the bank’s complaint desk yesterday, where they tracked my request and reprocessed it again. I had to do an emergency fund transfer to my husband’s account who was in Dubai. The Lady “Latha C” who sat at the complaint desk assured me that they can do the transfer from the bank thru RTGS/NEFT. They called me at 8.30 am in the morning today. I stood outside the bank for more than an hour and then I got to know that today is a holiday. I spoke to Miss “latha C” and the lady next to her yesterday. None of them informed me about today’s holiday. I assume the bank people knew about this holiday still she called me in the morning to do the fund transfer.

My request was ignored for more than one month secondly they set wrong expectation by assuring me to complete my work and calling me on a holiday. My husband needs money in a foreign land on an urgent basis but all my work got delayed because of this irresponsible behaviour. I postponed all my work and went to the branch this morning but I played a fool’s part by TRUSTING THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE the second time.

WHERE DO WE GO FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT COMPLAIN DESK PEOPLE? THIS IS HEIGHTS OF IGNORANCE. I can only say that the “TRUST FACTOR” has gone. I can never trust the customer care. They are non-responsive, misleading and irresponsible. I wasted my morning behind this stupid incident. I am not able to digest that there is nobody who can take charge of these small things.
