Wrong informatioin given by collection agency

Dear Sir,

I am Satpute, i received a call towards settlement of my credit card (No.4477 4744 9983 7006) dues from Mob No. 9930716159 from Mr. Rajesh & Abhishek. They have taken chq of rs. 5000/- from me in August & promised me to send settlement letter after realisation of cheque but even after realisation of cheque, i couldn't received any settlement letter. I have called on this number so many times but they are not receiving my call. I found that this payment was adjusted in my outstanding dues instead of settlement amount.

Then I contacted customer care about but they didn't help me. So I have not paid any money.

Then I have received calls in december-09 from Tel No. 912230554100, Mobile No. 9619442648 from Ms Shalini Patil. She has told me that she is calling from Settlement Department of ICICI Bank & would settle my credit card dues on Rs. 45500. She also requested me to deposit cash of Rs. 12600/-, then she will be issuing me settlement letter. So have deposited Rs. 12600/- in fort branch & gave her transaction details, but after that moment she is not attending my call. And this amount also adjusted against my normal dues.

Because of my marriage i have taken loans from friends & others, now i am paying them monthly from my salary therefore i am facing big financial problems. Eventhough i am ready to pay 32900/- (45500/- Less: paid amt Rs. 12600/-) in installments.

I hope that you will look into this matter & help me to get out of this problem.
